Absolutely. First published in 1989, the 7 Habits are built on timeless principles of character, integrity, and human effectiveness — not fleeting trends. In today’s world of distraction, burnout, and rapid change, habits like Put First Things First (prioritization), Seek First to Understand (empathy), Then to Be Understood (respect), and Sharpen the Saw (self-renewal) are more essential than ever. Millions of people and leading organizations worldwide continue to apply them with proven results.
AI can be used ethically or unethically — it amplifies human intent, not judgment. Leadership, grounded in the 7 Habits, equips students with Be Proactive (taking responsibility), Think Win-Win (seeking mutual good), and Synergize (collaboration) — ensuring they guide AI toward positive impact rather than harm. Without leadership, technical skill alone risks misuse; with it, students become responsible innovators.
